NYI Students participate in the Braille Challenge® Reading, Writing & Spelling Contest

Recently students of the Schermerhorn program competed in the 2009 The Braille Challenge®, the only braille reading and writing contest for students in the country. A record-breaking 31 blind service agencies and schools for the blind and visually impaired throughout the United States and Canada are hosting regional events.
