On Thursday, July 9th we had a little Mardi Gras celebration.  Although Mardi stands for Tuesday in French we decided to celebrate on Thursday.  The residential students were given hats, masks and beads in order to dress up for the occasion.  They danced to songs like the cha cha slide and dance freeze.  They also played a game called the Red Dubloons.  They had to search for these red coins and trade it in for gold coins, (Gold Dubloons) .which were chocolate coins that they were able to enjoy at the end of the game.  It was a festive evening were the students were able to dance and parade around in there costumes.
