1923 image of jungle gym at the 9th Avenue School

When the school moved to the Bronx, there was no Pelham Parkway North. The main entrance was a full circle that exited directly to the central parkway.

The new entrance has recently been enhanced with new stucco, plants, fresh paint and a driveway.
Today our main entrance is much different and was recently enhanced with new paving and planting.
